Marta started her studies when she was 6 years old and meanwhile played concerts and performances (Classic/pop/rock/crossover as solist and in different ensembles) in more than 30 countries in the world, among others in famous Carnegie Hall in New York. She won various international competitions and was awarded many prizes.

Besides training in classical ballet, contemporary and other dance techniques, Keiko Schmitt discovered her interest for dancing with fire in 2007. First shows with different well-known fire dancers followed soon after that. Meanwhile, Tanzlicht K offers a diverse selection of choreographed shows and technically challenging tools in dance, fire and light artistry to choose from. The shows vary from Tanzlicht K solo performances to co-productions with other fire artists and dancers.
